Political Journey
Kinjarapu Atchannaidu is the fourth son of K. Dali Naidu and K. Kalavathamma, and younger brother of the legendary Yerran Naidu. Born and brought up in the political environment, Atchannaidu naturally developed inclination toward public service and politics.
Entering electoral politics in 1996, he won the Harishchandrapuram constituency by-poll following his elder brother's election to Lok Sabha. This marked the beginning of a remarkable political career that has seen him serve as MLA for multiple terms and assume various ministerial responsibilities.

After dissolution of Harishchandrapuram constituency, contested from Tekkali but lost narrowly. Also lost the subsequent by-poll, showing political maturity in accepting people's mandate.

Won Tekkali constituency in 2014, 2019, and 2024 elections with increasing margins. Established himself as the undisputed leader of Srikakulam district politics.
